A 3D printed map of Chicago, framed
Chicago is where the skyscraper was born, and the Loop still shows it off: a dense grid of towers between the river and Grant Park, with Willis Tower at its west end.
Outside downtown, the city is two-flats, greystones and bungalows on long, straight streets. A model of your block shows how the alleys and the grid fit together.

What shows up in a Chicago model

The Loop model above runs from the Chicago River along the top, through the grid of towers, to the green of Grant Park on the right.
Every building, street, park and shoreline comes from OpenStreetMap, saved the moment you order, so your model matches the preview you approved. Parks print green with little trees, and bridges stand on piers over the water. Mark up to 5 buildings in colour and add an engraved plaque.

Which size fits
Chicago's grid makes it easy to frame a neighbourhood exactly. A 10 × 10 in covers 1.3 km on each side, which is about the Loop from the river to Congress Parkway. For a few blocks around one address, an 8 × 8 in at 1.5× zoom shows about 670 m across.
| Size | Ground covered at 1× | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 8 × 8 in (20 cm) | 1 km on each side | US$109 |
| 10 × 10 in (25 cm) | 1.3 km on each side | US$149 |
| 20 × 20 in (51 cm) | 2.8 km on each side | US$419 |

Questions about Chicago models
Can I choose somewhere not listed above?
Yes. The areas are just starting points. Search any address in Chicago, or anywhere else, and drag the square where you like.
Is a brand-new building included?
Buildings come from OpenStreetMap. Very new ones can take a few weeks to appear, so check the preview before you order. You can add a missing one yourself.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Tick "This is a gift" and enter their address at checkout: there's no price in the box, and your note comes printed on a card. Not sure of the spot? A gift card lets them choose.
